"Education is a natural process carried out by the child and is not acquired by listening to words but by experiences in the environment."

MONTESSORI

Kindergarten follows pure Montessori system of education:

The Montessori curriculum is very broad based and covers uniquely the Montessori subjects that are listed below.

  1. Exercise of Practical Life
  2. Sensorial Activities
  3. Language
  4. Mathematics
  5. Culture and Science

In MITS the Montessori curriculum is framed in such a way that it is non-graded and non-competitive, thus allowing the children to work with self confidence. It also permits their individual potential to reach its own level at its own pace without any judgmental pressure. Our classroom does not have a specific timetable, although self-motivation and interest of the children along with unobtrusive direction by the adult ensures the child's overall development.

"Education should no longer be mostly imparting knowledge, but must take a new path, seeking the release of human potentials."
